Twenty-Five Years of Reading Other People's Credit Reports
Easy Street Credit Repair is a credit services firm based in Las Vegas, Nevada, working with clients across the country. We started because the people we saw getting declined for homes and cars were mostly carrying errors they didn't know how to fight, and the companies offering to fight for them were promising things the law doesn't allow.
Where We Came From
The first files we worked on were our own and our neighbors'. A paid-off card still reporting a balance. A collection from a gym in another state. A late payment from a month the mortgage servicer had agreed to defer. Each one took a specific letter, a specific citation, and the patience to follow up at day 31. That's still the whole business.
Over twenty-five years the tools changed and the bureaus' tricks changed, but the job didn't: read every line, dispute what's wrong, and tell the client the truth about what's right.
What We Believe
The audit comes before the sale
About one client in five doesn't need credit repair. They need a plan. We'd rather say that on a free call than bill them for disputes that won't change anything.
The law is the tool, not the obstacle
The Fair Credit Reporting Act and the Credit Repair Organizations Act are on the consumer's side. We work inside them: no fees before work is done, a written contract you can cancel, and a copy of everything we send.
Honest about tradelines
We sell authorized-user tradelines and we also tell people when not to buy one. Both are part of the same job.
Teach the file, not just fix it
Every repair client gets coaching. A score that lasts is worth more than a score that spikes.
